AUCKLAND CHILDREN INJURED.

AUCKLAND, May 10.

Grave injuries were sustained by a brother and a sister, Noel George Renton, aged six, and Mabel Winifred Renton, aged 12, as. the result of a collision between a trolley on Which they were riding and a motor-car at Mount Eden this afternoon. The car was going along Dexter Avenue, and the trolley was coming down the slope in Newburn Avenue when the accident occurred. The children were removed to the Auckland Hospital, and their condition is serious. The girl has internal and the boy head injuries.

Serious injuries to the head were sustained by Alan East, aged seven years, as the result or being knocked from a bicycle by a motor-car in Northcote. His condition is serious. Another child, Peter Smith, aged two, received a fracture of the thigh to-day, through being knocked down by a motor-car in Ponsonby. AUCKLAND, May 11. Allan East, aged seven, died at the hospital this morning, as the result of injuries received when cycling home from Northcote School yesterday.
