REEFTON, April 22.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Margaret Bailey took place at the Suburban Cemetery on Saturday. The hospital staff, of which deceased had been a member for many years were well represented and as many patients as were able to attend were present. Rev. H. O. Brickland officiated at the church and graveside. Maruia Springs were again crowded at the week-end two lorry loades of campers leaving here on Saturday besides private cars. , Mr. Chadwick of the local Post ,and Telegraph staff here, received notice of his transfer to Greymouth and leaves for his new duties on Wednesday next.
