SENATOR’S HUGE GIFT.

(Recd. April 22, 9 a.m.) WASHINGTON, April 20. Senator Cousens has donated ten million dollars for the creation of a trust fund, “to be used to promote the health, welfare, happiness and development of children of Michigan and elsewhere in the world.”
The fund will be administered by Dr Freund, who is the Senator’s personal physician. A clause in the trust instrument stipulates that the principal and income must be distributed entirely inside twenty-five years.
