WORKERS’ NOVEL STRIKE.

MELBOURNE, April 19.
A novel strike occurred when builders and labourers on the old Melbourne gaol site, where excavations continue to unearth the remains of executed criminals, left work demanding thirty shillings per day, and that an undertaker should remove the bones.
These terms were, agreed to. Over twenty skeletons have been dug up. Most df the graves were despoiled by souvenir hunters.
