WEST COAST HOCKEY ASSN.
ANNUAL MEETING.
The minufil general meeting of the .West Coast Ladies' Hockey Association was held last evening, Air Rrimg presiding. There were also present: Mrs Reeves, Misses N. Furness (Mawhera), J. Hughes (United), H. Nelson, B. Gordon (Stars), O. Ridderford, R. Park (Blackball), E. Harrison (Runanga), M. Nimmo and Mrs Johnstone (Brunner), and Messrs B. Rvan. and P. Richmond.
The annual, report and balance-sheet were read and adopted. The election of officers resulted : —
Patron : Dr W. McKay; president: Dr J. W. Mcßrearty ; vice-presidepts : Messrs O, McLean, S. B. White, ABeban, P. F. TJiorpy, D. Hanrahan, W. Ryan, Dr. Ray,P. Low, G. Smith, B. Ryan; secretary and treasurer, Miss E. Peillon (re-elected). The committee jis tp consist of two members from each club. It was decided' to ask Miss Charles if she would again act as delegate to the New Zealand Association.
Affiliation fees were received from Brunner and Blackball. It was decided that the Secretary write to Hokitika in reference to their mo r ements this season.
It was resolved that each club supply their own set of goal posts. It was decided to open the season on Wednesday, April 24. Brunner and Blackball were given permission to play on Saturdays ■when convenient. Mr Richmond was empowered to draw the fixtures for the coming season.
The following are the fixtures for Wednesday, April 24 : —Brunper v. Blackball, at Brunner; United A v. Runanga, at Runanga; Mawhera v. United B at Park ; Stars v. Hokitika, a bye.
