CATHEDRAL PARISH MEETING.

HAMILTON, April 17. The dissension in the Waikato Anglican DiQcesp was further evidenced to-night when the Cathedral parishioners, numbering 600, held their annual meeting. The proceedings very lively. Dpan Barnett stated flefipitely that the election of officers turned on the Question of whether the parishioners approved er disapproved or the polipy apt! actiops of Bishop Cherrington in the atjipipisfralion of the diocese. Mr. D. Hpy, a appporter of the Bishop, spid that fie had invited Bishop Cherrjpgtpn to attend as the issu© had been made opp between him and the Dean. Tljp Bishop entered and made ffis way to the platform amid cheers. The election pf officers went in favour of the anti-Bishop party by majorities of abopt fpup to three.
