NEW PLYMOUTH, April 2. C. H. Stephenson (New Plymouth) defeated G. M. Chong (New Plymouth) in. the final of the Taranaki Amateur Golf Championship to-day. J.'Harold (Wanganui) and P. Grey (New Plymouth) were the other semi-finalists.
