Time 1.43 3-5. ROTORUA ELECTRIC HANDICAP, of six furlongs : — (1) Prince Vai, 7.10 ... 1 (8) Whakama, 7.2 ... . ••• 2 (2) Flapperette, 8.5 '... ••• .3 Scratched: Handstitch, Red Lion, and Haviland. Won by a length; a head. Time 1.13 3-5. OHINEMUTU HACK CUP, 1 mile (5) Unoco, 7.0 ... ••• £ (2) Palmares, 8.6 ... -•• 2 (1) Owairaka, 9.4, and (3) Whaka King 9-0 (dead heat) 3 Scratched : Hlingar and High Tide. Won by half a length Time 1.42 2-5. PRESIDENT’S HANDICAP, one mile. Mosque (7.2) * Schorr (7.7) ROYAL FORM DESTROYED AUCKLAND, Feb. 11. While exercising at Takapuna this morning Royal Form fractured a leg and was destroyed. The gelding by Royal Soult-Pretty Form displayed winning form at the Takapuna meeting, where he won the Waiwera High Weight Handicap and gave promise of developing into a good cross country performer.
