BLACKBALL MINE.
(To the Editor.) Sir—The little bit of backbone shown by members of the Miners Union last Sunday had disastrous results for the grab-all crowd who now have to face a ballot at the minemouth. Something very' distasteful! The members who are opposed to disruption and dictation from Moscow will need to see to it that suitable men are nominated for the various positions, and supported solidly at the ballotbox by those who have the welfare of their homes and livelihood at heart, and want sound common-sense, practical knowledge and reason to prevail, in the conducting of their affairs. Ine majority disclosed in no uncertain manner that they have had enough of the trouble-makers and their Communist leader. We heartily agree with your editorial, that a good cleanup is necessary. The general feeling is that this will be done.—Yours, etc., WORKER.
