LABOUR WINS BISHOP AUCKLAND LONDON, February 8. The Bishop Auckland by-election (owing to the death of Mr B. C. Spoor, Labour), resulted in the letuin of Mrs, Hugh Dalton (Labourite), wife of the Commoner, 14,797. A. Curry (Liberal) 7725. H. Thompson (Conservative) 3357. TWO MORE MEMBERS DEAD. LONDON, February 7. The death has occurred of Mr A. W. Dean, M.P., for Holland-with-Bos-ton (Lincolnshire). He was born in 1857. The death has also occurred of Sir Alexander Sprot, Conservative M.P. for Lanark North. He served in several campaigns, and was born in 1853.
