ULTIMATUM CONFIRMED.

A report has reached London that the Soviet has sent an ultimatum to Habibullah Khan, known as Bacchasakao, the new Amir of Afghanistan, demanding an apology, and compensation for ill-treatment of Russian nationals at Kabul, especially the ten aviators lent to Amanullah. Failing a satisfactory reply the Soviet reserves liberty of action. The “Daily Express” states: It is understood that news of the ultimatum was sent to the British Government from Sir F. Humphreys, British Minister at Kabul.
