REEFTON, December 6. JMr C. S- Dalgleish, Government Fields Instructor, writes to Air T. H. 1 Lee, Reefton, that lie has arranged with Mr Bell, secretary of the Inangahua Farmers’ Union, to meet farmers interested in the top-dressing of pastures at Mr Leo. Bell’s farm at Rotokoliu on Sunday, December 9, at 1.30 p.m. for the purpose of inspecting the top-dressing pasture plots and explaining same. Thes eexperiments are showing outstanding results with the use of potash (sulphate of potash) and are well worth inspection. Air I. Patterson left for Wellington on a business visit on Tuesday morning.
Messrs J. B. Auld and C. P. Mori returned from Dunedin by Tuesday’s express.
Sister Raynor, recently appointed to' the staff of the Reefton. Hospital, arrived on Tuesday, and takes over her duties as from to-day-
Mr V. Alborn. returned from Dunedin on Tuesday evening. Alatron Hunt, of Waiuta Cottage Hospital, has gone to Nelson on holiday, and Miss Millar, of Christchurch, is acting in her place.
Mrs Sloan, of Auckland, is staying with ’Mrs G. White, Crushington.
