Crowds thronged the streets in the vicinity of the Court House awaiting the verdict in the Obregon murder trial. The jury were out for an hour and forty minutes. Toral was sentenced to death, and Mother Concepcion to 20 years’ imprisonment. Both the accused were calm. Their counsel will appeal to the highest Court.
