ROME, October 7.

During talk in an aristocratic club, Prince Lancelotti said that Prince Potenziani, former Governor of Rome, luul been dismissed for grafting. The Marquis Sambuy defended Prince .Potenziani in such terms that Prince Lancelotti considered himself insulted. . They therefore fought a duel with rapiers yesterday, and Marquis Sambuy was three times wounded slightly.

Prince Potenziani later learned of the affair and he challenged Prince Lancelotti. They fought a duel to-day, and Prince Lancelotti in turn was three times wounded, each time slightly.
