TROTS TO BE INCLUDED.
The adjourned meeting of the Greymouth Jockey Club was held this afternoon, present Messrs T. E. Coates (chairman), H. J. Bignell, H. D. James, H. F. Doogan, A. Beban, G. R. Harker, W. H. Parfitt, J. D. Wingham and W. R. Kettle. The following officials and committes were elected: — Treasurer: W. R. Kettle (re-elect-ed). Judge: H. G. Carter (re-elected). Stewards: Messrs T. E. Coates, H. J. Bignell, W. H. Parfitt, H. F. Doogan, J. D. Wingham, W. R. Kettle and Kim Williams. . Handicapper: J. Noble (re-elected). Clerk of Scales: T. Mclntosh (reelected). Timekeepers: H. W. Kitchingham and P. C. Heaphy (re-elected). District Committee: T. E. Coates, W. R. Kettle, W. H. Parfitt, H. F. Doogan and A. Beban. Judicial Committee: H. F. Doogan, J. W. Hannan, J. D. Wingham, A. Beban and H. J. Bignell. Course Committee: W. H. Parfitt, H. J. Bignell, J. D. Wingham, G. R. Harker and A. Beban. Programme Committee: A. Beban, H. F. Doogan, Kim Williams, J. D. Wingham and W. R. Kettle. Mr. Doogan moved, and Mr. Beban seconded, that two trotting races be included on each day’s programme at ( the forthcoming summer and autumn meetings.—Carried. It was decided to eliminate the two six furlong races on each day, to make room for the trotting events. It was resolved to leave the drawing up of the programme to the Programme Committee, stakes to be about the same as last year, and draft of programme to be 'submitted to the General Committee for approval.
