REEFTON, October 3.

Mr E. Gilsennan of Inangahua Landing has been compelled to enter Reefton Hospital for treatment. Mr V. Alborn left for Christchurch on Tuesday. His horse Linkman, has an engagement at the Methven Trotting meeting on Saturday, having been accepted for the Cup there on Hint date.

A consignment of 43 cases of whitebait arrived at Reefton station yesterday en route to Christchurch from Westport.
