Arrived, Arawa; at Liverpool, Cumberland ; at' Vancouver, Niagara. Sailed, from Panama, Baron Inchcape. SHIPPING NOTES. The Kalingo is awaiting conditions suitable for departure for Melbourne and Sydney, timbei - laden. The Piri is expected to sail to-night, with timber, for Sydney and Melbourne.
The Orepuki arrived last night with general cargo from Nelson and Westport. After discharge she loads coal for Dargaville. The Titoki sailed yesterday morning with coal for'New Plymouth. The Alexander leaves* Wellington ou Tuesday for Nelson and West Coast ports, with general cargo. On arrival here she loads coal and timber for Nelson.
The Kaimai sails early to-morrow afternoon with . timber and coal for Miramar and Wellington. The Balls Head is expected to-day from Auckland. She is to load timber and coal for return.
The Kamona arrived on Sunday morning from Wellington. She sails to-morrow afternoon with coal and general cargo foi - Wellington. The Putiki sails to-morrow with general cargo for Hart’s construction camp at Milford Sound.
The Kartigi was to sail from Auckland on Saturday last, foi - Greymouth, carrying general cargo. Mr. J. D. Lundie, chief officer of the Kaponga, has been transferred to the Wahine in a similar capacity. Mr. W. Henderson has joined the Kaponga as chief officer. Mr. B. F. Fisher has relieved Mr. P. E. Ryan as chief officer of the Opihi. The latter has been granted holidays.
