Lala Lajpat Rai, the Hindu extremist in Punjab, retorted most virulently to Tom Johnston’s recent criticisms of the Swarajist.
“Let Johnston not talk of Socialism It is blasphemy in his own mouth. He and his 'Party are only disguised wolves who want to help other nations intb subjugation. India has ceased to take the British Labour leaders seriously.”
