(Australian Press Assn. —United Service.) LOANS ON HOUSES SYDNEY, August 11. The New South Wales Government has decided to amend the Advances for Homes Act, whereby the Government Savings Bank will’ help people to build their own homes. The terms have been liberalised. Borrowers will now be able to obtain loans up to £lOOO instead of £750, in addition to securing up to ninety per cent, value of the security. The loans will be restricted to applicants with incomes up to £5OO.
