St. JOHN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL

PRESENTATION OF PRIZES At the conclusion of the morning service at St. John’s Presbyterian Church yesterday, the prizes won by the Sunday School scholars at the annual assembly examinations, were presented. In the absence of Mr. J. Ring, Superintendent, the prizes were presented by Mrs. Ring, who congratulated the winners on their success. The winners were: —

Division A; Memory Work —Margaret. Shrives 1, Molly Tennent 2. Division C, Scripture—Betty Cuttie 1. Memory—Betty Cuttie 1, Elizabeth Shrives 2, Bell Tennent 3, Gwen Doel 4. • >

Division D, Memory—Marion Tennent 1, Stella Shrives 2, Mabel Wilson 3. Scripture—Stella. Shrives 1. Special prizes presented by Mr. Ring for highest marks awarded were won by Margaret Shrives (Division A) and Betty Cuttie (highest in Division C in Westland Presbytery).
