WELLINGTON WOOL SALE.

WELLINGTON, March 26.
The final of the Wellington wool sale opened this morning, 20,880 bales being offered to a full bench of buyers representing all markets. The sale reached the peak prices of the'season. Competition was keen. The prices were probably in excess of brokers’ estimates. There were practically no passings, with a risd of to 2d on February rates for fine wools. Lambs were on par. Coarse wools Id to up. The Chairman of the Wool Brokers’ Association describes the sale as extremely satisfactory. .STOCKS AND SHARES. AUCKLAND, March 26. • Saibs on. ’change : Auckland Gas 21/10. Reported : Colonial Sugar £5B 17/6, Bank of New Zealand (£1 paid) 26/. LIVE STOCK SALE. At Totara Flat saleyards on Friday, March 30, at 1 p.m., 200 ewes, 30 fat sheep and 15 fat and forward steers md heifers will be submitted to public competition. The auctioneers invite further entries.
