LONDON, March 25
The “Daily Express’s” Paris correspondent states: There is a growing hostility in the Vatican towards Fascism. The Pope informed the Primate of the Catholic Austria that the appeals of the oppressed Germans in the Tyrol could not be acceded to. The best he could do was to send blessings.
MUSSOLINI’S VISIT.
VIENNA, March 25.
Extraordinary precautions are being taken at Bozen, in the Tyrol, on the occasion of Mussolini’s visit on May 24, to unveil the victory monument. Officials have measured the windows overlooking the road, and carefully listed the entire occupants, and ordered that they and their servants report thrice weekly until May 25.
