MR COOLIDGE’S REFUSAL

WASHINGTON, March 21
President Coolidge, in reply to a resolution passed by the Republican State Central Committee of Wyoming, declined to accede to the Committee’s wish that he waive personal preference and consent to continue for an additional four years, the leadership, which had brought honour and prosperity to the country. The President’s Secretary said. “The President has directed me to say that he must decline to grant the request, of the Committee.”
