Woodsworth, Labour member for Winnipeg, the Premier denied any intention to make a change in the international joint commission as previously reported. The treaty creating the commission is in harmony with Canada’s status. Appointments are in the hands of the British Government under the treaty, but Britain intimated that the King would most certainly be advised by Canadian Ministers, in regard to the appointment.
