Wanganui: Easterly wind, temp. 66, blue sky, tides good, smooth sea; Wellington: Calm, 63, blue to cloudy sky; Westport: Calm, 65, blue to cloudy sky, moderate tides, smooth sea; Arthur’s Pass: N.W., 58, blue to cloudy sky; Christchurch: E., 68, sky, overcast; Dunedin: Calm, 62, blue to cloudy sky, moderate tides; Bluff: N., 61, sky overcast, moderate tides, smooth sea. WEATHER FORECAST. “The indications are for southerly moderate winds. There is a prospect of fair weather, with cooler temperatures. Barometer rising slowly. Sea and tides moderate.”
