CHURCH OF CHRIST

• One of the minor religious organisations, in. point of numbers, at Greymouth, is the Church of Christ, bi(t this denomination lias just as lengthy a record as -some of the larger denominations. The Church of Christ was established at Greymouth on October 18, 1871, by the late Mr. R. Wright (father of the Hon. R. A. Wright, -Minister of Education) and the late Mr. J. Miller. They walked from Hokitika to Greymouth along the beach, to perform the ceremony. The present , building was erected of wood in 1925, on a site facing Dixon Park, and has accommodation for 300 people.
