A PIONEER MEN’S OUTFITTER. Of the many local firms to whom Jubilee Week has more significance than just a round of celebrations, one must count in F. B. Lawn, of Mackay Street. Mr Lawn started in business here as a tailoi’ and men’s o.utfitter just twenty-one years ago, and that he has followed the principles of up-to-date and honest merchandising has no more convincing proof than in the fact that he enjoys a clientele to-day that many stores of longer establishment would envy. Such a success calls for more than an ordinary contribution to Jubilee Week, and in addition to his personal services, Mr Lawn announces a discount of 2/- in £ off .all his stock whilst the Jubilee Celebrations continue. Inasumch as this firm’s stock is of the highest class it goes without saying that visitors and local residents will buy at Mr Lawn’s with considerable advantage to themselves. —A.l.
