VETERINARY EXPERTS’ VISIT. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, February 17. A.n endeavour is being - made by tbe Government to secure a visit to New Zealand by Dr. Orr (Director of the Rowett Institute, Aberdeen) and Sir Arnold Theiler, formerly Chief of the Veterinary Staff of the Government of United South Africa, and a world's authority on veterinary science, who are due to arrive in Australia during the coming autumn. Such a visit is regarded as being one of particular importance at present, in view of the fact that with the return of officers who have been studying investigatory methods and technique abroad, the mineral content of pasture research work will be commenced in earnest. Mi’ T. Rigg, M.Sc., Assistant Director of the Cawthron Institute, is back in New Zealand, having represented the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research at the Agricultural Research Conferences in England, and having spent some time also at the Rowett Institute and at Rothamsted, and is oh his way back to the Dominion, where he is due about the end of next month. He will visit veterinary research stations in Australia.
