NEWCASTLE, November 27. Sailed, Kairangi, for Wellington. WAITARA, November 28. Arrived at 11 a.m. oil 27, x Aratapu, from Greymouth. LONDON, November 26. Departures: From Southampton, Ruahine; from Curacaos, Tamaroa. Mr. MacFarlane has sailed by the Ruahine to endeavour to arrange foi* New Zealand meat supplies on behalf of the British Wholesale Co-operative Society. SHIPPINgTnOTES. The Union Steamship Company’s big cargo steamer Waihora, which has been laid up at Port Chalmers for some time, has been sold to a Japanese firm. The Piri arrived yesterday from Auckland, via Westport, with a cargo of explosives. After discharge, she will load timber for Melbourne. At Melbourne she will load explosives for return to New Zealand.' •
The Kaituna is due to-night from Auckland. She loads coal and returns thither, completing at Westport. The Waipori arrived this morning from Bluff. She loads coal and timber for Miramar.
The Kamona is due on Wednesday from Wellington in place of the Kittawa. She will load coal and timber for Napier. The Putiki is due about December 5 to load coal for Gisborne. The Poolta, with timber from Clarence River and Port Stevens arrived la.4t Monday from Newcastle at Welling ton, and proceeds to Timaru, Dunedin and Greymouth to complete discharge.
The Ihumata is loading a cargo of timber for Sydney, and will sail dbout next Wednesday. The Regulus sailed on Saturday night for Wanganui with a full cargo of coal.
The Titoki leaves Wanganui to-day, and Wellington to-morrow, for Nelson, Westport and Greymouth with general cargo. After discharge she loads coal for Onakaka.
