The conversion of coal and wood flrvd wash coppers for use with gas is rapidly taking place in Greymouth and Cobden. No less than 120 households have made the change. In addition heavy sales of complete wash coppers have been made. All users speak in the highest terms of the efficiency and cleanliness of the gas coppers in complete contrast to the drudgery of the old style coppers.
