(Our Own Corrßßnor-lent. ■ REEFTON, September 1. . Mr" Geo. Shepherd arrived in Reefton on Tuesday flight on a visit to his mother, who is at present in bad health. Mrs Buchanan and Miss E. Conway, of Wellington, aye visiting Reefton and staying with their parents, M»’ and Mrs E. J. .Conway, of Reefton. Mrs and Miss Murdoch, of the railway station, are on a holiday visit to Tipaaru .and LytteltonMr Chas. Neville, Government stock inspector, of Hokitika, in company, with Mr Kerrigan, chief .Government, veterinary officer, are on a business visit to Reafton. The euchre at the Catholic Haji on Tuesday night jya.s well attended, th-e prize winners being Mrs N. Collins 1; Mrs Hunt 2; Miss S. Meibom 3.
