ANCIENT PALESTINE

IMPORTANT DISCOVERIES. (Australian anil N.Z. Cable Association.) JERUSALEM, August 12. On a site known as Napoleon’s Hill, because Napoleon occupied it when going on the Acre Banks expedition, important discoveries have been made at Telejerishan, 2| miles north-east of Jaffa. It is now clear there was a settlement there at least eight thousand years before Napoleon made his expedition. v The remains of the wall closely resemble the walls of ancient Jericho, while the foundations of a large building, presumed to be a fortress, show traces dating back to the time of Abraham.
