Longbeach Handicap,' 6 furlongs.— Hoylake 1, Kalos 2. Also started— Note, Cassolette, Royal Lineage, Satrap, Moratorium, Prince Pdladin, Bronstell, Wreath of Myrtle, Grey Wells, Money Peer, Quantum; Amorist and Philanderer. Aylesbury Steeplechase, about 2% miles. —Royal Wink 1, Osterman 2. Also started —Hokioi, ’The Babe, Greenstone, Jovial and Goddform.
HORSES SOLD CHRISTCHURCH, August 13. At the horse sale, satisfactory prices were realised for the Longbeach brood ipares. Coronata sold for 58 guineas, Blather 150 and Skydrean 325 to lan Duncan.
