THE SUN. The sun sets to-day at 4.45 p.m.; rises to-morrow at 7.27 a.m. WEATHER REPORT. Taken at Greymouth at 9 a.m. today—Wind, east; barometer. 30.00; thermometer. 40: tides, good, considerable sea. Rain 12pts. WEATHER FORECAST. “The indications are for southerly winds, moderate to strong, with a westerly tendency. There is a prospect of cloudy weahter. The night will probably be very cold, with frost inland. Barometer rising slowly. Sea considerable swell, but decreasing; tides good.”

First quarter 7th 12.23 p.m. Full moon 15th 6.53 a.m. Last quarter 22 nd 2.13 a.m. New moon 29th 5.6 a.m.
