State the approximate quantity of coal which may be reasonably extracted from the area in respect of which a lease is applied for: Not prospected. To be developed from and in conjunction with applicant’s Coal Lease No. 87/20. State the estimated cost of developing the area, including the necessary plant, equipment, and buildings required for such purpose: The area applied for will be developed from and in conjunction with the Coal Lease now held by applicant, and coal could not be economically won from the new area for a period of at least 4 or 5 years. State whether or not sufficient finance has been arranged to develop the area as a coal-mine, together with the required plant, equipment, and buildings: Yes. i State the estimated annual output: As it will take some considerable time to develop the area, even when reached, from applicant’s main dip headings a fair estimate of output, say in the fifth year, would be 5000 tons, to be gradually increased as it is developed.
