Rain is falling over the whole of the northern agricultural areas of South Australia. PREMIERS’ CONFERENCE. MELBOURNE, June 19. At the Premiers’ Conference, Mr. Lang accepted the Commonwealth road agreement, which provides building roads and Federal grants, involving an expenditure of £20,000,000, of Commonwealth funds, spread over ten years. After the meeting, which was in camera, Mr Bruce stated that now there was every prospect of a unanimous agreement to all the Commonwealth financial proposals, Mr Lang having indicated a willingness to give way on a number of important details.
