MEETINGS
GREYAIOUTH POULTRY CLUB. A meeting of the Greymouth Poultry Club was held in the (did Boys’ Clubroom last evening. Air Clough was voted to the chair. There was a large attendance of members. Apologies for absence were received from three members. Inward correspondence was received from the South Island Poultry Association re application to the Government for a grant of £lOO tor championships at shows; Loin the Canterbury Bantam Club re special prizes at the I'orthc.oming show; from Air J. Daere intimating his readiness Co judge the open class at this Club’s show; from Air Jenkins, Courtenay, re supplies of wheat for club members.
The Club decided to increase the special prizes for bantams from one to four. ,
The election of officers resulted: — Patron, the Alayor (Mr ,1. W. Greenslade) ; President, Air T. Jones; Secretary, Air E. Bettel ; Assistant Secretary, Mr'Kendrick ; Treasurer, Ah' J. Robertson; Auditor, Mr White. The schedule for rhe 1927 show was discussed, and considerable additional prizes offered for competition.
