(Per Freea Assooiatioa.) PALMERSTON NORTH, April 28. The Autumn Meeting of the Manawatu Racing Club opened to-day in fine weather, although the course was somewhat heavy after the recent rains. The attendance was good. As the result of a. protest from the owner of Waicullus, the placings in the first race were reversed, viz., Waicullus 1, Town Bird 2, Manly 3.
