ROTORUA TOURNAMENT

ROTORUA, April 27. The Rotorua ladies’ open golf tournament opened yesterday, the weather being boisterous and wet, but the course was very good. Leading scorers ifi the qualifying round were: Miss Upham (Miramar) 82, Miss Cullen (Middlemore) 85, Miss M. Payton 89. In the second round, Mifcs Upham beat Miss Brandon 1 up at the 19th; Miss Foreman beat Miss Currie 7 and 6; Miss M. Payton bbdt Mrs Wilson 4 and 5, and Miss Culling was 1 up at the 19tlr.
