SAILOR LIGHTS PIPE
OIL TANKER EXPLODES
(Australian & N.Z. Cable Assn.) NEW YORK, Nov. 30. A Swede, Handberg, a sailor aboard the oil tanker "Warwick,” lying at Wilmington Harbour, struck a match to light a pipe, when an explosion blew up the tanker. Two people were killed and six injured. Surrounding buildings were damaged, and the total damage was £50,000.
