SAN FRANCISCO, October 22. Three earthquakes at hour intervals rocked the central coast districts of California this morning. They were fdtt at Napa, fifty miles nortn of San Francisco, at Stockston, ninety miles south east, and at San Luis Obispo, two hundred and fifty miles south. , The first shock was at 4.36, and it woke the sleepers, who rushed into the streets. San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose were the largest cities affected. Large buildings swayed perceptibly, here and at other points. The reported damage is mostly broken windows.
