AIR LANG RETAINS LEADERSHIP.

SYDNEY, Sept. 15. The Parliamentary Labour Caucus re-elected Air Lang as Premier, and Air Loughlin as Minister of Lands. The voting was even for leader, but the Caucus then decided to accept it as a motion for the re-election of Air Lang.

SYDNEY, Sept. 16.
Air Loughlin retains the deputy leadership of the Parliamentary Labour Party. As the result of the caucus meeting, Air Lang has resigned from the directorate of the Labour Daily, the official organ of the Party, and has been replaced by Air Alutch, Alinister of Education. The caucus elected M 1 ’ Connell, nominee of the Loughlin faction, as chairman of the Party, in place of Air Gosling, the Lang nominee.
Mr Garden, who, for many years has been leader of the Communist Party, has resigned from that party, and is seeking re-admission to the Australian Labour Party, from which he was expelled some years ago, owing to his association with Communists.
