The Wellington Racing Club’s Meeting was concluded on Saturday before a large attendance. The track was in excellent condition after the rain the t previous night. The totalisator investments' for the day were £59,597, against last year ;> making a total for the meeting of a decrease of £11,446|. Results: — Wallace ville High weight Handicap. —1 Mask, 10.10 (L. G. Morris) 1, 4 En Route, 9.11 2, 3'Kilorum, 9.13, 3. Also ran: Son o’ Mine, The Tank. Won by three lengths, third a neck away. Time 2.24.

Kelburn Handicap.—l Anklet (C. Eastwood), 7.2 1, 6 Catcall 7.9 2, 4 Sanctuary 7.3 3. _Also ran: 2 Bon March, Newbury King, 8 Mountain Top, 10 Corinthic, 5 Cornstalk, 7 Serenade, 9 Tannadice. Won by four lengths, third half a length away. Time 1.40 g. Hopeful Stakes. —2 Front Rank 7.10 (C. Eastwood) 1, 3 Gleninnis 8.10 2, 5 Paper Boy 7.11 3. Lucky Days and the favourite began best, followed by Front Rank and Gleninnis. Tommy Dodd was favourite, but after being fairly well placed he was unable to come through at the distance. Phoenix Park acted as pilot to the straight, followed by Pelham, Tommy Dodd and Kilbronsyth. When the field turned for home, Good Sport and The Thorn also showed up, but at the distance Grand Knight put in a great sprint on the outside and won by three-quarters of a length from Pelham, who was a long neck clear of Phoenix Park. Clandhu finished well up in fourth place. Time 1.394. Consolation Handicap.—2 Gala Day 7.6 (AV. Bagby) 1, 6 Tarleton 7.2 2, 5 Surveyor 8.0 3. Also ran: 1 Listening Post, 4 Clarinda, 3 Fool’s Paradise, 8 AVaetea, 7 Kfilceit. Gala Day and Surveyor began best. Listening Post was in behind the leaders going into the back stretch. Surveyor then had charge. He tried to win from end to end, only to fail at the finish, which was close. Gala Day did best in the straight to win by a length from Tarleton, who got up to beat Surveyor by a similar distance. Clarinda was fourth. Time 2.6.
