MT. EVEREST

AERIAL EXPEDITION.

(“Sydney Sun” Service.) LONDON, January 24. The “Daily News” says that the French aviator Collizo, holder of the world’s altitude record of 39,586 feet, accompanied by a cinematographer, intends to make an air attack bn Mount Everest.

A Bleriot machine is being specially designed and fitted for the flight in th ip air. It is equipped with oxygen for use above 25,000 feet. In older to avoid the air currents about Everest, when Collizo reaches the required height he will dive towards the summit, and drop the French flag, to which will be attached a sealed tube containing an account of the flight.
