The new traffic bridge at Frosty Creek about eight miles south of Hokitika, has been opened for The ferro-concrete piers for the bridge across the Inangahua River, on the Reefton-Nelson road, are almost completed, and the ironwork for the bridge. is being made in Christchurch. It is expected that the bridge will be opened, in February next. A 440 ft bridge (with four spans of 110 ft) has been completed over the Karamea River, by Messrs R. and S. Atkinson, A number of improvements have been 'effected in the Buller Gorge road r and a dangerous portion of Hawk’s Craig’-removed. -- •
