RUNANGA SCHOOL COMMITTEE The Runanga School Committee met in the school room on Tuesday evening. Mr. W. J- Wick occupied the chair. It was agreed that the headmaster’s report‘be received as satisfactory. The roll number is 250 and the average attendance 240.. It was resolved that a child out of every house will take a paper home and every parent will be asked to vote as to where the annual .school picnic should be held; papers to be returned to the school the following day, and where the majority vote for the picnic will be held. The picnic day was fixed for January 23, 1926. The following are the places the parents will be asked to vote on: Hokitika, Omoto Racecourse, Seven Mile. It was resolved that Messrs Johnston. Armstrong and , Duggan take charge of the door for the picture benefit given by Mr.,.Mpore on .Friday night Cor the children’s prize fund.
