For 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day:— “The indications are for westerly moderate to strong winds, freshening and veering by west to north. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Expect a very low barometric pressure! The'barometer has a rising tendency, hut falling again soon. Sea considerable on coast. Tides good-” AT OTHER CENTRES. Wanganui: Westerly breeze, overcast, tides good, moderate sea.; Wellington: N.W breeze, overcast; Christchurch: Light "S.W. wind, blue sky; Dunedin: Light S.W. wind, blue sky, tides good.
