The Opua sails -to-night for Nelson, coal and timber ladenThe Orepuki left Wellington to-day for Nelson and Coast with’ general cargo. The Kaimai is expected to sail from Wellington to-day for Greymouth. The Zita to-night for Waitara, b with a cargo of timber. ’ The Inga is due on Friday from Wa- | nganui to load timber for SydneyThe Jhumata is due on December 7 from Wanganui, and will load timber for Svdney and Melbourne. Additional berthing space for warships is to be provided .at Calliporft Dock wharf (Auckland) in order to j, give ’ accommodation for . the second cruiser of the New Zealand squadron. The. plans provide for an extension, ol the wharf to the stone steps in a line with the entrance to the dock. Advice has been received by the Auckland Harbour Board from the. Navy Office, Wellington, that approval has been given for the expenditure of an additional £3OOO on the work, making £10,500 for the whole scheme. The work is to be carried out by the board’s staff. ■ . AT OTHER PORTS. WELLINGTON, December 1. Sailed at 1.25 p.m,, Kaimai, for Greymouth. PORT OF GREYMOUTH. During the month of November 26 steamers and two sailers, aggregating 17,788 tons, entered the port of Greymouth. The departures were 22 steamers and one sailor, aggregating ■ 14,234 tons. Of the latter total, -three I steamers sailed for Australian ports, I timber laden.
