Lyon is to join the Poolta as second officer vice Air. SV. H. C. Millward, who proceeds on holiday. Captain A. H. Prosser has taken command of the Kaituna, relieving Captain A. 11. Stewart, who has gone to Wellington for instructions. Mr. P. E. Brewer, chief engineer of the Ngakuta, has. joined the Kurow in a similar capacity, vice Mr. J. iGillanders, who has been appointed Inspector of Machinery. Mr. A. Williamson has been appointed acting chief engineer of the Ngakuta. r Captain J. W. Cameron, late of .-.lie Kahika, is now in command of f he Poolta. having relieved Captain. A. Reed, who will leave Dunedin to-day for Wellington for instructions. The Waipori isj scheduled, to sail this evening for Wellington, bar permitting, with coal and timber for New Plymouth and Auckland. The Opihi sailed this morning for Dunedin, coal laden. The Kaimai is expected.to saij from Wellington on Monday night for Greymouth direct. She load 4 coal on arrival for return to Wellington.
Tne Kaitaugnta is Hue this evening from Wellington with general cargo, ■and will load coal on arrival for Tauranga and Auckland. / The Kaiiapoi is expected to arrive on Monday from Wanganui to load coal and general cargo for Wellington. The Poolta is expected to sail 'this afternoon from Oamaru for Greymouth direct. She loads timber at this 'port for Sydney. The Kaituna is expected early next week from Southern ports with general cargo for this port. She loads coal and timber on arrival for Napier and Auckland,' completing at Westport. The Zita s_ails to-night for Waitara, with a cargo of timber. The Inga is due on Friday frani Wanganui to load timber for Sydney. The Ultimata is due on December 7 from Wanganui, and will, load timber for Sydney and Melbourne. The Qpua arrived ' this iiiorning from Wellington, via'Nelson and Wiestport, 'with general cargo.
