PARIS, November 26. It is officially stated, that M. Briand has agreed to form a Cabinet, following on an anxious day during which M. Herriqt failed, and M. Sarraut (Minister for th© Colonies) declined on the grounds of ill-health, President Doumergue’s request to form a Government.
Hie President also consulted M. Cazals, President of the Radical Socialists.
M. Briand. who already has been seven times .Premier, is busy forming a npw Cabinet. He will exclude the Socialists, unless they wish to join. M. Briand will make up the deficiency from the Centre. FRANC’S VALUE. LONDON, November 26. The French franc is quoted in London at 126.93 to £1 to-day.
